Sigrid is an internationally renowned singer-songwriter; with her unique style and upbeat tempo, she easily broke through global charts. In 2013, Sigrid released her debut single, Sun, regarded as her national breakthrough in Norway. Following the success, she signed to Petroleum Records and later performed at festivals such as Øyafestivalen.
In 2016, Sigrid moved on to sign with Island Records. After only a year with Island Records, she released her debut single, Don't Kill My Vibe. The EP achieved phenomenal international success, reaching the charts in Norway, Australia and the United Kingdom. To add to her impressive career, Sigrid performed on Park Stage at Glastonbury Festival, and later at Reading festival in 2017. As a unique achievement in her varied career, Sigrid was part of The Sims 4: Parenthood soundtrack, with the Simlish version of her song, Don't Kill My Vibe.
With a growing community of fans, Sigrid was announced as the winner of the prestige BBC Music Sound of 2018. Remarkably, within that month, Sigrid won the Newcomer of the Year award at Spellemannprisen. Sigrid continues to collect impressive accolades, her global recognition showing no signs of slowing down.
After 4 years of growing as a singer, Sigrid released her debut EP in 2017, named after its title track, Don’t Kill My Vibe. Within the same year, she featured in the globally popular film, Justice League (2017), performing a cover of Leonard Cohen's 1988 classic Everybody Knows. In 2019, Sigrid released her second album, Sucker Punch, soon followed by a European tour.
