Winners of Britain's Got Talent 2009

Dance act Diversity are a street dancing troupe famous for their spellbinding performances and first-place finish in the 2009 series of Britain’s Got Talent.

Ashley Banjo and his boys, a mix of all ages and sizes, specialise in creative and inventive dancing moves, the likes of which have never been seen before in previous routines and constantly leave people wowing.

The 2009 edition of Britain’s Got Talent was one of the most talent-rich in the competition’s history, with the likes of Susan Boyle, Flawless and Shaheen Jafargholi all vying for the title.

Nevertheless it was Diversity who captured the nation’s hearts – and the top prize – with their breath-taking routines which incorporated Transformers, Superman and even the judges’ buzzers alongside a slick set of traditional moves and stunts.

The dynamic dance group, whose members all hail from East London and grew up together, were propelled into the spotlight and have used that platform to launch themselves to the very top of their game.

Since performing at the Royal Variety performance in 2009, the Diversity boys have been fortunate to dance worldwide, in front of the Queen, the Prime Minister and at the Michael Jackson Tribute Concert.

In 2012 the dance group embarked on a mammoth all-arena tour, which proved to be a sell-out success, in addition to three further tours in the UK and Ireland.

Guaranteed to deliver stand-out performances the Diversity boys have received outstanding reviews for every event they’ve performed at and consistently produce a captivating experience for their audience.
