John has also written such well-loved Moody Blues songs as ‘Steppin’ in a Slide Zone’, ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Over You’, ‘Love Is on the Run’, ‘Lean on Me (Tonight)’, ‘Here Comes the Weekend’, ‘Peak Hour’, ‘(Evening) Time to Get Away’, ‘Sitting at the Wheel’, ‘House of Four Doors’, ‘Tortoise and the Hare’, ‘Candle of Life’, ‘Eyes of a Child’ and ‘Minstrel’s Song’… to name just a few.

While the Moodies continue to tour and draw huge crowds, John regularly performs as a solo artist at corporate events or festivals where his amazing falsetto vocals hold audiences spellbound. Anyone who sees him perform cannot help but be wowed by his passion for music and his unique lyric writing. In 2015, John released a solo album called ‘10,000 Light Years Ago’.
