Union Avenue

Leading Female Acoustic Duo

Leicestershire based Union Avenue are a rarity on the live music scene- they are an all-female acoustic duo.

Ruthie and Tara have a wealth of performing experience having previously worked on numerous worldwide contracts for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, P&O, Ocean Village, Bourne Leisure and many more.

In November 2014 they made the decision to combine their talents to form a contemporary music duo for weddings and corporate events.

As Union Avenue, they perform a wide range of popular cover songs in their own individual, stripped-back style. They are quickly becoming well known for their ‘mash-ups’ where they combine two popular songs to form something unique – Ruthie has even been known to break out her rapping skills!

Using close vocal harmonies against a backdrop of acoustic guitar, they create a sound that is unmistakably ‘Union Avenue’. With the ability to make you laugh or cry Union Avenue can deliver anything from a heartfelt wedding ballad to a crowd-pleasing rock anthem. They revel in getting the audience involved in their performances and know how to get them on their feet and get the party started!

With this duo, everyone is guaranteed to have a great time and walk away at the end of the night with memories that will last a lifetime.
