He registered a fifth-placed finish on reality television show I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! before appearing on stage with Whoopi Goldberg in Sister Act The Musical and as the big bad wolf in the Three Little Pigs musical. These events renewed Simon’s status in the public eye and brought a number of guest appearances on talk shows such as Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and The 5 O’Clock Show.
In 2011, Simon appeared with Blue when they reformed to represent the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest. The song finished in a highly-respectable eleventh place in the competition (which for anyone familiar with the contest - is actually pretty impressive!).
Further tours with Blue and as a solo artist followed and he played at some of the most prestigious venues in the UK once more while continuing to make appearances on popular television shows such as Celebrity Juice and Breakfast. 2011 also saw Simon Webbe take a third-place spot on Britain’s favourite television dance contest Strictly Come Dancing.
