Jocelyn Brown is an American R&B and dance music powerhouse whose unmistakable voice has shaped decades of soul, disco and club culture. With a career spanning more than forty years, she has become one of the most sampled, celebrated and sought-after vocalists in contemporary music.
Brown first gained recognition in the disco era, working with artists and groups including Disco-Tex and the Sex-O-Lettes, Musique, Cerrone, Inner Life, Change, the Salsoul Orchestra and Luther Vandross.
