Brit Awards 2016 Nominations Announced
The beginning of the year sees the cream of the British music crop recognised for their achievements of the previous 12 months, as preparation for the annual Brit Awards begins to take shape.
Held on Wednesday 24 February at The O2 in London, the 36th edition of the British Phonographic Industry’s annual pop music awards will see legendary duo Ant & Dec cast as the event’s presenters for the third time.
A total of 66 nominations have been made in 12 categories rewarding the best British albums, singles, videos, producers, breakthrough acts, and both the best solo artists and groups from the UK and also from overseas.
The likes of James Bay, Florence + the Machine, Adele, Calvin Harris and Mark Ronson are in the running for several Brit Awards, and as always the evening is expected to provide memorable and era-defining incidents.
At Champions Music & Entertainment we are proud to count a multiple Brit Awards winner among our ranks: none other than Blue, one of the biggest boybands to come out of the UK, the 2002 Best British Breakthrough Act and the 2003 Best Pop Act.
