A Flock of Seagulls were formed by Mike Score and his brother Alistair. The band released their first single ‘Talking’ on Bill Nelson’s Cocteau label. The record was well-received with the band being picked up by the major record label Jive. Their success saw the band relocate to Philadelphia with sold-out shows impressing American audiences before the band dissolved in 1986. Mike Score reformed the band in 1988 and has gone from strength to strength. Mike developed a solo career alongside his work with A Flock of Seagulls releasing the album ’Zeebratta’ in 2014.
