Amelia Lily is an English singer and television personality, best known for her appearances on The X Factor, Celebrity Big Brother, and most recently, Geordie Shore. Since entering the spotlight in 2011, she is now prevalent within the entertainment industry and continues to appear on stage, on television, and in theatres throughout the UK. When hired for events, Amelia will showcase the talent which allowed her to secure top spots on the UK Singles Chart multiple times throughout her career.
In 2011, Amelia auditioned for The X Factor and was greatly praised by the judges after her first performance. At only 16 years old, she progressed through the boot camps and judges’ houses but was unfortunately eliminated in the first live show. After the elimination, she did not let this affect her passion for music and continued to follow the show whilst performing at clubs to increase her experience. As a fan favorite from the beginning of the season, the judges allocated a vote to bring back one of the former contestants and Amelia received 48.8% of the total votes. Destined for a second chance, she continued to showcase her talent and secured third place in the finals.
After Lily had completed the 2012 X Factor tour, she announced that she has signed for Sony subsidiary Xenomania. Later that year, she released her debut single ‘You Bring Me Joy’ which reached number one on iTunes and number two in the UK following its release. Having showcased her talent with her own music, she began gaining opportunities to support numerous high-profile artists within the music industry, including being the support act for both Girls Aloud and Olly Murs. Respected by audiences throughout the UK, she competed in the 2017 series of Celebrity Big Brother, and in 2019, she was announced to join the cast of Geordie Shore. Thriving in the spotlight, Amelia continued to appear on television and on theatre stages across the UK.
