Armstrong burst onto our screen for the fifteen series of The X Factor and he gained the support and adoration from the viewers from his very first performance. The twenty three year old musician has also showcased his immense talent on The Voice Nigeria. Armstrong's heart warming story helped him gain appreciation not only as a singer but also as a down to earth man who left his childhood home at the age of thirteen. Taken in by a church pastor Armstrong has devoted his life to helping others and works as a youth worker and church singer sharing his beautiful gift with others.
Armstrong's first ever TV competition experience came in 2016 when he took part in The Voice Nigeria and with great success he made it all the way to the live shows under the mentorship of Nigerian star Timi Dakolo.
For Armstrong's first ever audition on The X Factor series fifteen, he performed High School Musical's soundtrack Breaking Free which initially won over all four judges and set him up as a firm competitor. Mentored by Louis Tomlinson and competing as part of the boys category Armstrong was unfortunately eliminated in week one of the live shows after losing out to Janice Robinson in a majority vote and as a result finished fifteenth over all. Armstrong's powerful voice is enough to lift the mood and create an unbeatable atmosphere at a variety of events whether that's a wedding, corporate engagement or evening function.
