Biography

Colin Thackery is an 89-year-old Army veteran and a singer. Colin joined the Army at the age of 15 and met his wife Joan at an Army camp dance in County Durham. Beginning to sing at the age of eight, he often sang with his wife until her death.

Having got through to the final of Britains Got Talent 2019, Colin went on to win the show by a landslide public vote. A wonderful performer and singer, Colin Thackery moves audience members to tears with his heart-warming renditions of classic songs.
