In 2015 David decided to put his voice to the test by fulfilling a lifelong dream of his. He took the plunge and applied for The Voice UK where he would undertake 6 months of auditions in a pool of 200,000 people.
Immediately, David, had media interest appearing in The Daily Star and Locker Magazine, Soldier Magazine and had over 96,000 messages over social media. David’s rendition of When A Man Loves A Woman has had over 250,000 hits on YouTube and he is still in high demand today.
Although David was eliminated from the show he has had many exciting times since. David has performed Live on Sky Sports at Twickenham Stadium in front of 82,000 people for the Army vs Navy game in May 2016.
Moving into Theatre more recently, David has been performing with California Dreamers, touring the UK in a 1960’s show. Paying tribute to artists such as The Eagles, Mama’s & Papa’s, James Taylor, Carole King, The Turtles and many more. The shows become a HIT in many cities in the UK.
With his obvious stage presence and vocal talent, David has now been invited to be one of three lead Male roles in the leading European 1980’s Show - 80’s Mania. The show is touring the UK and once again David has risen to the challenge.
As Davids musical career continues he is now signed to Sonic Boom Records and is currently recording his first album. Working with some very famous songwriters in the USA.
David’s passion and life is Music and Singing. Throughout his career in the Military, he has always excelled hugely and now wishes to excel in the Music Industry. Due to his popularity over the social platforms, there is no reason why he couldn’t fulfil his dream to release music that people will be able to relate to because after all – Music breeds memories and without it, the world would simply be boring.
