Josh Tye brings over ten years of experience, extraordinary vocals, and outstanding guitar skills to perform the most popular 80s party bangers. An Offie nominated actor/musician hailing from South Yorkshire, Josh exhibited great musical talent from an early age. He went on to train at the prestigious Urdang Academy, graduating with First class BA Hons in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre.
Since graduating, Josh has performed as an actor, singer, dancer and actor-musician with leading UK and international touring theatre shows. Following that, Josh went on to appear in bands where he sang and played at several events across the UK. During this period, Josh played with a highly reputable 80’s corporate band, pit bands and performed as a solo artist. Josh is also a highly sought-after musical theatre and music teacher.
In his performances, Josh is able to cater for every taste in the 80s music genre, he will play all the hits from legendary artists including, Hall and Oates, Prince, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Spandau Ballet, A-ha, Van Halen and Human League among others. As an accomplished performer, Josh has played at many prestigious venues such as Club Tropicana, The Royal Albert Hall, Salzburg Festspiele, and Edinburgh Playhouse, in addition to several well-known music festivals and UK theatre.
