Oti Mabuse is an internationally celebrated Latin American and ballroom dancer, television presenter, choreographer and one of Britain's most recognisable dance personalities. Best known for her success as a professional dancer on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, Oti has become a household name through her exceptional talent, infectious enthusiasm and ability to connect with audiences of all ages. Oti began her competitive dance career in South Africa, where she established herself as one of the country's finest Latin dancers by winning the South African Latin American Championship eight times. She later moved to Germany to continue competing internationally, appearing on Let's Dance while achieving major success on the European circuit, including victory in the German Championship PD Freestyle Latin. In 2015, Oti joined BBC's Strictly Come Dancing as a professional dancer, quickly becoming a fan favourite thanks to her energetic choreography, vibrant personality and outstanding performances. She made television history by winning the competition in consecutive years, first with Kelvin Fletcher and then with Bill Bailey, becoming the only professional dancer to achieve back-to-back victories on the programme.
Beyond Strictly, Oti has built an impressive broadcasting career as both a presenter and judge. She joined the judging panel on ITV's Dancing on Ice in 2022, bringing her technical expertise and engaging personality to one of Britain's biggest entertainment shows.
