After co-starring in ITV’s 5 Alive series, which won the New York Festival of Comedy Award, Peter completed his third series as special guest on The Ron Lucas Show for Thames TV and emigrated to Los Angeles signing with Lorimar Television. Thus, making the crossover from comedy to drama on the other side of the Atlantic. Roles in American TV series; Party of Five, The Martin Short Show and Tarzan, along with national commercials culminated in him being chosen to appear in the 22 episodes of Acapulco H.E.A.T., filmed on location in Mexico and syndicated worldwide.
Back in Hollywood he worked as a voice-over artist for Disney, Warner Bros. and Paramount films on Black Beauty, Patriot Games (1&2) and Pocahontas. After recording a one-man special for Sky TV; Stand & Deliver he began establishing himself as an actor on British soil whilst maintaining his roots in comedy. He played guest lead in Holby City for BBC1 & filmed opposite Steven Berkoff for an episode of Hotel Babylon.
His performance of Spencer Gabrielle in the original musical Boogie Nights was critically acclaimed in the West End & he was directed by Simon Callow to understudy and performed the one-man show Tommy Cooper Jus’ Like That! at the Garrick Theatre, Leicester Square. In 2017 Peter appeared in the new Jimmy McGovern series Broken for BBC1 and starred as Tom Ridley in Coronation Street for ITV. Peter's no stranger to panto either! He had a great response and fantastic reviews from Robin Hood at Milton Keynes Theatre in 2018.
