In 2016, Richard auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent and soared through to the finals, combining his two loves, the military and magic, to bring a tear to the judges’ eyes. His patriotic celebration of British heroism earned him the title of the first magician to win Britain’s Got Talent. Following this victory, he performed at the Royal Variety Show and returned for Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions in 2019. Richard continued to strengthen his reputation with a UK tour in 2017, starring in his ITV show, Operation Magic, and embarking on the 2021/22 tour titled Escape. Richard’s military career, which began in 2010, saw him join the British Army before progressing to the Parachute Regiment and Household Cavalry.
