Rio Fredrika is a highly popular DJ, presenter and host whose infectious personality and energetic performances get audiences bouncing wherever she appears. Combining experience across radio, television, digital media and live entertainment, Rio has developed a versatile career that makes her equally comfortable behind the decks, interviewing major celebrities or commanding the stage at a live event. She has presented for recognised names including Capital FM, CBBC and UNILAD, while her DJ work has taken her to events and venues including Tape London. Bringing together broadcasting experience, musical knowledge and natural charisma, Rio is an exciting choice for corporate events, parties and brand activations.
Rio first attracted significant attention through her work with digital media platform UNILAD in 2015, becoming involved in presenting its online content. Among her early interviews were conversations with comedian Jack Whitehall and actor Idris Elba, each attracting approximately 1.5 million views. Her engaging presenting style subsequently opened opportunities across television and radio, including appearing on CBBC's 'The Playlist'. In 2017, Rio co-hosted 'MTV The Grind' in Malta, with the programme reaching a substantial audience through Facebook Live.
Alongside television and digital presenting, radio has formed another important part of Rio's career. She has presented the Capital FM Weekender and hosted 'Rio's Adventures' on Hoxton Radio, further demonstrating her ability to connect with audiences through music and conversation. Her experience across multiple broadcasting formats has helped develop the spontaneity, confidence and crowd awareness that translate naturally into her work as a live DJ and event host.
As a DJ, Rio brings the same upbeat personality and feel-good energy that characterises her broadcasting work. She has DJed at numerous events and hosted a regular music night at London's Tape nightclub, combining carefully selected music with an engaging presence behind the decks. Her ability to move seamlessly between DJing and presenting makes her particularly valuable for events requiring a versatile entertainer who can keep proceedings moving as well as the dance floor busy. Whether appearing at a corporate celebration, private party, music event or branded activation, Rio Fredrika delivers polished entertainment with energy and personality.
