There she honed her vocal skills with help from the likes of such big names as violinist and jazz musician Omar Puente, jazz and scat specialist Anita Wardell and jazz singer and lyricist Norma Winstone.
Tessa complements her solo act with regular appearances with jazz and swing band, The AppleJacks. The group play a host of classics from the 1920s, through to the 1940s, and engage audiences with the true charm of the time. Tessa can perform as one part of the 1940s-style harmony duo The Honeybirds, alongside Gav, who regularly perform pop and jazz covers around the UK, Europe and the US. Finally, Tessa performs with the Echo 42 Big Band and is heavily involved in a tea dance event called Teapots And Twirls.
