The BIG Sing is a tantalising community choir established by Howard and Gemma Francis over a decade ago. Both distinguished artists in their own right, they performed alongside industry heavyweights, including Ellie Goulding, David Grant, Mica Paris, and Leona Lewis, before founding the illustrious community choir.
With community at the heart of the choir, The BIG Sing was established to inspire and empower members of the local community who need the power of music and have raised over £200,000 to date. As such, the choir is comprised of a diverse group of people who perform happy and uplifting pop, gospel and soul renditions, mesmerising audiences.
Incredibly talented The BIG Sing recently won the nation over on Britain’s Got Talent 2023 with their sensational performance, impressing the audience and all four judges on the panel. Having perfected their performance over the last decade, The BIG Sing has received multiple accolades, including the Pride of Essex Award in 2017 and the Community Award in 2014. They were also Winners of the BBC Songs of Praise Gospel Choir of the Year Competition in 2017.
Highly acclaimed for their accomplished performances, they have been asked to sing for ITV’s X Factor and are featured in notable media outlets such as The Independent, BBC Sounds and Lorraine. Regularly performing at community events, corporate events, festivals and charity days, The BIG Sing masterfully uplifts the spirit of their audiences.
