Born in South Africa, Innocent developed his professional career through opera, becoming a former member of Cape Town Opera before establishing himself in the UK. His international experience includes performing in 'Porgy and Bess' with acclaimed bass-baritone Eric Owens at Dutch National Opera. His operatic repertoire has continued to expand through roles including Borsa in Verdi's 'Rigoletto' and Tamino in Mozart's 'The Magic Flute'. Innocent has also performed with English National Opera, further strengthening a career that has taken him from established opera houses to mainstream television audiences.
