ChiChi's musical journey began at the age of 14, when she fronted an R&B band performing cover songs at her school in Colchester. Years of piano tuition provided her with a strong musical foundation and continue to influence her songwriting today. Inspired by legendary artists including Luther Vandross and Dionne Warwick, she has developed a distinctive style that blends technical excellence with heartfelt emotion. After moving to London, ChiChi became a member of her local church choir before joining the renowned London Community Gospel Choir. During her time with the choir she performed across the UK and internationally, appearing at Live 8 alongside Madonna and touring countries including Ghana, Morocco, Austria, Germany and France, using music to inspire audiences around the world.
Throughout her career, ChiChi has continued to expand her artistic portfolio. Her original music has featured on numerous compilation albums and independent radio stations, while her reggae-influenced single So Called Friend reached number three on the USA iTunes Reggae Chart. She has also recorded a reggae gospel album and performed alongside respected reggae artists, including Peter Hunningale and Neureus Joseph. Alongside her solo work, ChiChi is an experienced session singer and has performed with the iconic 1970s group Boney M, further demonstrating the quality and versatility of her vocal talent.
