Denise Van Outen is a British entertainer born in Basildon, Essex. She has had a long career as an actress and presenter, now famed as a celebrity DJ booked for both corporate and private events. She has delivered sets for radio show Magic FM sharing some of her favourite 80’s tracks with listeners on the nationwide channel as she hosted the Saturday afternoon slot.
Her early acting career saw her appear in cult favourite dramas like BBC’s The Bill in 1998 and Kappatoo before making her big break on daytime television programmes like Channel 4’s The Big Breakfast. Denise quickly became one of the nations favourite presenters and over the last 20 years has presented on a string of the biggest daytime television shows from ITV’s Lorraine, ITV’s Loose Women, to Channel 4’s Something for the Weekend.
Denise Van Outen has appeared on both Strictly Come Dancing as a celebrity contestant finishing as runners up in the 2012 edition of the show. She also has appeared on Dancing on Ice in 2021 although she unfortunately had to withdraw due to in injury part way through. She has also appeared as a judge on Ireland’s Got Talent in 2018.Her acting career has seen her appear in 8 films including cameo appearances and animated specials. Most famously, she appeared in Keith Lemon: The Film and Run for Your Wife alongside Danny Dyer.
