Greg James is an English radio and television presenter, comedian, and author, best known for his appearances on BBC Radio 1. Also the host of the renowned podcast ‘Tailenders’ alongside two fellow hosts, Greg enjoys sharing his passion for music and sports with a wide audience. Starting his radio career whilst at university, Greg presented several shows for Livewire 1350AM and advanced to the station manager in 2006. Named ‘Best Male Presenter’ at the Student Radio Awards in 2005, Greg was highly respected for his natural talent and secured his first role at BBC Radio 1 in 2007. Presenting his first early breakfast show whilst covering for Sara Cox and Vernon Kay, he was awarded the Early Breakfast show five days a week after his graduation. Fulfilling a range of shows throughout the station, including the early afternoon slot, appearing as the host of The Official Chart Update and the drivetime slots, Greg has become an expert in the entertainment industry.
Aside from his respected position at Radio 1, Greg also Co-Hosts ‘Not Just Cricket’ on 5 Live with England cricketers Graeme Swann and James Anderson. Determined to remain successful as a presenter, Greg has also become the host of the weekly podcast ‘That’s What He Said’ with BBC Radio 1 Presenter Chris Smith.
