The Hear Our Voice choir is a remarkable vocal ensemble made up of 39 individuals who were directly affected by the devastating Horizon Post Office scandal. This national scandal saw hundreds of innocent sub-postmasters wrongly accused and convicted of theft, fraud, and false accounting due to an IT error within the Post Office’s accounting software. In the face of this profound injustice, the choir was formed not only to raise awareness but also to offer its members a space for healing and solidarity through music.
Despite never meeting in person before their Britain’s Got Talent audition, the choir stunned judges and viewers alike with their emotional and powerful performance. Until that moment, all rehearsals had taken place online via Zoom, as members are spread across the country. The very first time the full choir came together in person was for that live audition – an unforgettable performance that brought audiences to tears and earned unanimous praise from the judging panel.
