Ian Moore is a unique and engaging comedian performing throughout the UK and abroad. His fresh and innovative performances have seen him gain regular plaudits and endearing adulation. He has been described by The Guardian newspaper as: “one of the country’s top comedians”.
Ian Moore regularly takes the top slot at London’s famous Comedy Store and is often heard on the radio or seen on television. He has become one of the most recognised faces in comedy through his witty, hysterical showcases full of blistering stories and shrewd observations.
He has become something of an expert on current affairs and can be found presenting and appearing on popular television shows such as Dave’s satirical hit Unspun, Channel 5’s topical show Comedy BigMouths and TRT World’s weekly news examination, Nexus.
Also known for his Mod-style clothes and hairstyle, Ian is an author as well as a comedian, with two books to his name – A la Mod: My So-Called Tranquil Family Life in Rural France and C’est Modnifique: The Adventures of an English Grump in Rural France.
On the radio, Ian Moore often appears on BT Sport’s The Football’s On… and Fighting Talk on Radio 5 Live for the BBC. On television, he has been a regular on The Stand Up Show and The World Comedy Tour.
He may have appeared around the world – including China, the Middle East, Australia and the Philippines – but Ian is truly at home in the UK and is a popular choice for corporate events or private functions where quirkiness and something different are required along with the uncontrollable laughter that he provokes.
The proof of a good comedian is when other top comedians love working with them. Among Ian’s partners in crime have been Catherine Tate, whom he appeared with at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and Jimmy Carr who attended the highly popular Britcom comedy event.
Ian’ performances at the Fringe brought him further success at the likes of Worldcom Festival and at Leeds Festival and Reading Festival. He has headlined comedy clubs, carnivals and festivals on a regular basis as well as supporting some of the biggest names in comedy.
