Multi award-nominated actor, gamer and comedian, Inel Tomlinson, exudes the type of magnetic charisma and talent that instantly demands your attention. A hugely experienced actor and improvisor, he is a main cast member in the smash hit show Horrible Histories, which collaborated with the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall in 2023. Inel also hosts for Comic Con, BAFTA, and Netflix.
Inel is best known for being one half of the UK’s first Black comedy double act Johnny & Inel. Starring in their own CBBC programme, The Johnny & Inel Show, Inel has also appeared as a voice-over artist for several CBeebies and CBBC programmes and toured the UK with his comical genius. A versatile entertainer, Inel is available to hire for a range of corporate, public and private performances as a comedian and is equally adept as an event host or workshop leader. A consummate performer, Inel has supplied his comedy genius to the comedy duo Johnny & Inel for many years. Established as the UK’s first Black comedy double act, the pair have since gone on to be nominated for two RTS North West Awards, Best Comedy Show and Best Performance in Comedy.
Inel has also completed solo work, starring as a voice-over artist as Rex on Footy Pups, Agent A Gent on Zig and Zag and also for Comedy Central UK, Bulldog Skincare and Love Island x Just Eat advertisements. Inel has also provided his voice for videos games such as Fractured Space, Du Lac and Fey: Dance of Death and Fable Fortune. As an actor and TV personality, Inel has also starred in Crackerjack, Diddy TV, A Long Crime Ago, Law and Order: UK, Whoops I Missed the Bus, Wheeler Dealers and Step Up to the Plate. Inel has also become a popular radio presenter, hosting the Live & Loud radio show on Fubar Radio and the 7-11 pm prime time slot on Virgin Radio UK. In 2024, Inel returned as principle cast for Pickle Storm (CBBC) and Horrible Histories (CBBC) and hosted the BAFTA Young Game Designers Awards.
He is also widely known as the co-host of the Video Game Podcast for BBC Sounds and launched Kinetic Comedy - a multicultural event bringing attention to up and coming talent on the comedy circuit.
