Being born into a highly musical family and hearing them sing and play, created a passion for music inside a very young James. Church was also an effective training ground, contributing much to his skills, confidence and personality.
A committed Jesus-junkie, he is a part of worship collective A New Thing. James is also the founder of PRESENCE; a night aimed at young adults and dedicated to worship and the word. New to the session singer game, James is a full-time session singer and has lent his vocals to artists such as Stormzy, Sway & Claire Richards and platforms such as X Factor & BRIT Awards.
2018 saw James finish second place in the brand new BBC show All Together Now. Expanding his reach and pushing him to do more, 22-year-old James is ready to step out as a worship leader and urban Christian artist.
