Lee Latchford-Evans is best known as one-fifth of Brit Award-winning band Steps, the UK’s most successful mixed-sex pop group of all time, with 14 top five singles, 3 number one albums, 20 million record sales and 7 sold-out national arena tours under their belts.
The band’s hits include number one’s Tragedy, Heartbeat and Stomp, the gold-certified One For Sorrow and Better Best Forgotten, the silver certified 5,6,7,8, Last Thing On My Mind, Love’s Got A Hold Of My Heart, Chain Reaction and many more.
In 2011, the band scored another number one album with their The - Ultimate Collection release, followed by a Sky 1 documentary series Steps Reunion - the highest rated original programme on Sky that year.
In 2017, the band marked 20 Years of Steps and released their first single in over 6 years Scared Of The Dark which hit number one on iTunes. They released their Tears On The Dancefloor album in April which also reached number one on iTunes and has now been certified Gold. The album also featured on BBC Radio 2 A-List with the singles Story Of A Heart and Neon Blue.
2017 ended on a high for the band, as they embarked on their 22 date sold out Party On The Dancefloor Tour across arenas in the UK and Ireland selling over 300,000 tickets - making it one of the biggest pop tours of the year. This summer the band played an additional 17 stadium and outdoor shows as part of their Summer Of Steps tour.
