Lorraine Brown is a truly established international solo artist with an awe-inspiring talent. She is lauded around the world, not least for being the voice of the 2005 dance superhit, Hypnotic Erotic Games which found its place at the top of the World Dance Charts and stayed there for a month.
The song from her debut release opened up a world of opportunities after the star displayed her incredible vocal talent to her biggest audience yet. With rich vocals full of depth and passion, the song was the latest hit from the acclaimed Stock Aitken and Waterman production line.
Before the success of her hit single, Lorraine had over a decade’s experience at the highest level of event entertainment; for corporate events, hospitality, as well as television. Performing in acclaimed shows such as ’West End Showstoppers’ and, rock and roll show “That’ll be the Day” Lorraine showed herself to be a captivating talent with a diverse repertoire. A wonderful Motown, soul, rock and roll, and dance act - Lorraine has a world-renowned ability.
In the early nineties Lorraine was a burgeoning talent, and after a number of years touring with girl group Romany Way, Lorraine went it alone and featured on a Des O’Connor’s television talent show - that she went on to win.
This lead to appearances on the West End, and headline slots for cruise liners such as P&O, Royal Caribbean and Silversea. She performed for members of the royal family at The Princess Grace Foundation Dinner in New York.
Lorraine carved out a career as a successful solo vocalist, becoming a feature of corporate events and wedding entertainment, as well as hotel, resort, gala dinner and cruise ship entertainment. Her powerful voice and on-stage energy and charisma proved increasingly popular and she was signed to a record deal in the early noughties.
Soon after her hot dance hit came out in 2005 it was being featured on world-class compilations, Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi. On the other side of the 2005 feature hit, she was playing more high-profile concerts and performed at famous events such as America’s Cup in Valencia and the Wieliczka World Heritage Site in Krakow in 2007. Lorraine has also had success as an actress, appearing in such television programmes as Home & Away, About Face and Soldier Soldier.
