Massaoke started life as Friday I'm In Love and was launched by a gang of friends in the basement of a central London pub in April 2011. From those humble beginnings, they've played at public and private gigs across the country and the world. From their own club nights to festivals including Glastonbury, Lattitude and T In The Park, playing at the Rugby World Cup final, rocking legendary London venues including Koko, Kentish Town Forum and the Electric Ballroom it is fair to say that this band is no stranger to the spotlight.
Many famous faces have joined the band on the stage to lead the singing, including Erasure's Andy Bell, Al Murray (on drums), Ed Byrne, Guy Pratt, Tim Vine, Aisling Bea, Mark Steel, Phil Jupitus, John Robins and Bez from Happy Mondays. From Bonnie Tyler to Bon Jovi, Journey to Taylor Swift and everything in between, this band is so versatile that there is something for everyone!
