Nicolo began to play the violin at the age of nine, showing an abundance of talent he proceeded to train in classical studies at the Vincenzo Bellini Conservatory in Catania. There he developed a strong knowledge of classical music in addition to training in jazz, pop, and rock. Recognised for his extraordinary ability, Nicolo won a scholarship to the prestigious school of Mogol CET, where he met and was influenced by some of the leading figures in Italian music such as Gianni Morandi, Enrico Ruggeri, Paoli Belli and Pupo.
Nicolo has won several competitions such as the Officina Sinfonica , he has also collaborated with famous groups such as II Volo. Furthermore, he participated in several international music festivals and has played as a representative of Italian music at the Sennheiser stand at the MusikMesse of Frankfurt. Moreover, Nicolo has recorded a backing track used for the inauguration of the cruise ship Costa Diadema and has performed at several concerts in orchestral groups and as a soloist.
In addition to being musically gifted, Nicolo has had the opportunity to be mentored by the very best teachers, such as masters Didier Lockwood and John Richard in the Parisian Centre De Musique Didier Lockwood, one of the most important jazz violin schools in the world. Nicolo frequently performs at over 120 events all over Europe, making him highly experienced and very adaptable. Boasting high-profile clients such as Whirlpool, PWC and Mercedes, Nicola also frequently performs at five-star hotels.
