When Ramzi was 9 years old his mum asked him whether he would like to learn the guitar after she came across a guitar teacher which was rare in Lagos. He started lessons and it became apparent that he was naturally gifted at music and singing. He performed his first show only 2 months later.
As an adult, he performed at bars and hotels by night while working on his songwriting during the day hoping for a break. In 2007 a friend heard one of his songs and sent it out to DJ's at radio. It wasn't long before Ramzi's track Alone was being played on Radio One, Kiss FM, BBC 1Xtra and the music video aired on MTV.
That was the beginning of Ramzi's journey which has led him to a Gold selling album, sold out shows and a worldwide fanbase.
