Sonare, formed in 2021, is an up-and-coming acapella choral quartet who have been making waves all over London with their incredible performances. They pride themselves on making their choir concerts accessible for all to enjoy and listen to and have put on an incredible three concert tours since the choir’s formation. With their name growing more and more recognition day by day, Sonare are regularly booked to perform at weddings, funerals and a range of private events, including the world-renowned Dukes Hotel’s Christmas Party in Mayfair.
The quartet is made up of Vicki Stilwell (soprano), Stella Bracegirdle (alto), Toby Churchley (tenor) and George Salmon (bass), all of their voices complementing each other beautifully to create a performance which is quite literally music to your ears. The group originally met whilst singing together as choral scholars and decided to form the group as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. They have gone from strength to strength ever since.
The versatile group, as well as singing well-known sacred choral music from across the ages and continents, are also able to cover a variety of pop and contemporary songs such as Pharrell Williams’ ‘Happy’, Bruno Mars’ ‘Marry You’, Coldplay’s ‘A Sky Full of Stars’ and Stevie Wonder’s ‘My Cherie Amour’ to name a few.
