As a testament to their longevity and versatility as an act, they achieved 14 consecutive UK top five singles and numerous international chart-toppers. With over 20 million records sold globally, it is no surprise that Steps won a BRIT Award nomination in 1999 for Best Newcomer, reflecting their immediate success.
