B*Witched shot to fame when their first four singles all topped the UK charts. The songs helped to define 90s music and are still heard blasting out of speakers in clubs and discos all over the country and abroad. C’est La Vie, To You I Belong, Rollercoaster and Blame It on the Weatherman are the hits that thrust the girl band into the spotlight. C’est la Vie went straight to number 1 and thus made them the youngest girl band to have had a number one hit.
Their fun dance pop fusion formed part of television shows and films such as What Women Want and Life-Size in 2000. Other songs such as their cover of Toni Basil’s Mickey furthered the girl band’s appeal in popular culture when it appeared in the film Bring It On and in an episode of Warner Brothers television hit, Smallville. Their song Hold On was featured in Disney hit film The Princess Diaries and they even wrote and performed the title tune for the animated Sabrina series. The BeWitched band brought an infectious fun to the stage, their songs and to their acclaimed videos in the 90s and noughties.
B*Witched are back and bringing their fresh Irish spirit, charm and stunning vocal talent to stages across the UK. Their energy and passion has not gone away and they have made a harmonious return to excite audiences across the globe. Twins Edele and Keavy Lynch were joined by Lindsay Armaou and Sinéad O’Carroll as they formed one of the biggest 90s girl bands in 1997. For the next five years, they earned considerable success in Europe and North America. They brought eight UK Top 20 singles and two top 20 albums.
They sold 3 million albums by 2002 before they shut up shop and went their separate ways. B*Witched reunited a decade later for the ITV2 series The Big Reunion along with other pop bands of their era, including Atomic Kitten and Five. The show followed six 90s supergroups as they prepared for a comeback performance at the Hammersmith Apollo in 2013. After the success of the reunion tour, further dates were announced and B*Witched returned to the limelight with a new release, Love and Money and 2014 brought the launch of their Champagne or Guinness EP. They went full tilt into a UK arena tour and have continued to make waves since.
