Galina graduated from the University of Cape Town with a degree in Performance prior to founding The Galaxy Dress.
Under the mentorship of Professor Farida Bacharova, the esteemed professional violinist, Galina developed a foundation of skill and knowledge that allowed her to expand upon her craft. After spotting a gap in the market for an act that combined music and fashion, she has toured the world with her illuminated dress - from Seychelles to London.
