At Champions (UK) plc, giving back to the community is hugely important to us. Our company takes corporate social responsibility very seriously and actively raise funds for a vast array of charities. Champions (UK) plc’s main charity if Rainbows, a dedicated children’s hospice in the East Midlands who support children and families of those who have severe diseases that limit or threaten their lives.
Since opening their doors in 1994, Rainbows have given children care and happiness time and time again. Rainbows are the only children’s hospice that specifically helps to relieve symptoms, improve life quality and support families during times of bereavement whilst caring for children until the very end.
Raising £300,000 in 2014 alone, Champions (UK) plc are proud to support Rainbows in every manner possible, with several of our speakers acting as patrons for the charities also, allowing them to utilise our roster of personalities at charitable fundraising events.
We have also supported many other organisations, including Giving Africa, LOROS, Great Ormond Street, Brainwave, Cure Leukaemia and Birmingham Children’s Hospital, PCA Benevolent Fund, The Lord’s Taverners.
At a more local level, Champions (UK) plc have also donated new equipment to the local Costock Primary School, as well as regularly offering work experience placements and apprenticeships to young people.
