After studies at Brooksby Melton Academy of Arts and The London School of Musical Theatre, with ten years of additional training at The Television Workshop based in Nottingham, Cara has enjoyed a successful career as a singer and actress. A talented West End standard performer, Cara has recently returned from America, where she spent time playing the role of Sandy in Grease for Royal Caribbean Productions. She has also performed as a Lead Vocalist aboard P&O Australia Cruises and toured as a vocalist for the Somewhere In Time UK tour with Natalie Lowe and Ian Waite from Strictly Come Dancing.
With her repertoire also extending to the Backlash Ballroom UK tour, Cara is showing no signs of stopping any time soon! She has also had her share of television and film work, previously starring in CITV programmes My Parents Are Aliens and Bernard’s Watch, CBBC show Joe Johnson and Warp Films This Is England. In recognition of her talents as a performer, Cara has been nominated for the 2017 and 2018 Best Principal Girl at the Great British Pantomime Awards. Cara has also performed as Cinderella at Derby Arena, Jill in Mother Goose at Sheffield Lyceum and Cinderella at The Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury.
