The band became international stars in the 1990s and became known as one of the biggest players in the London-based funk and acid jazz movement. The band is fronted by singer-songwriter Jay Kay and are best known for their iconic music video of their 1996 single Virtual Insanity as well as their song Canned Heat which impressively featured on Napoleon Dynamite. You Gonna Learn became the groups first single released under Acid Jazz records, this lead to Jay Kay signing a record deal with Sony Soho2.
