Jon has had a deep-rooted love and passion for music from an early age which is portrayed within his emotive vocals and stunning music. His talents have seen him receive critical acclaim within the acoustic world for his technical abilities as a fingerstyle singer-songwriter. His skills often compared to that of Newton Faulkner and Petteri Sariola due to the impressive way he uses his guitar and vocal harmony pedal without the use of a loop pedal.
Jon has gained wide recognition, especially within the acoustic industry for his debut album Reborn along with fingerstyle-folk album Set Adrift which was with Daryl Kellie and then his three EPs Momento, Defuse and Sticks & Stones. He went on to gain an even bigger fan base following his tour through the UK and Europe which included performances at Isle of Wight Festival, Ullapool Guitar Festival, London Acoustic Guitar Show and The Turner Sims Concert Hall. The Ullapool Guitar Festival was a real stand out as he got to co-headline with the fingerstyle legend Preston Reed.
Jon has acquired a BA Honours in Music from Southampton University and now not only makes incredible music but also runs multi-award-winning functions for in-demand guitar tuition and highly recommended session work.
Closing 2017 Jon toured the UK alongside Maneli Jamal a fellow fingerstyle guitarist in collaboration with Cole Clark Guitars UK. Recently Jon has released his third album Annual and embarked on another UK tour with Billy Watman, fingerstyle and classical prodigy.
