Little Man Tate are a British four-piece indie rock band with many years of industry experience performing at events across the UK. Having originally formed in 2005, the band released numerous chart-topping singles before announcing the band's split four years later. Following the breakup, the musicians continued to tour as solo acts before revealing their reunion in 2020. Continuing to create stand-out music, Little Man Tate are beloved by audiences worldwide.
Originally forming as a four-piece band under the name of Carousel Moon in 1998, the band later transitioned into Little Man Tate with musicians Jon Windle, Edward Marriot, Ben Surtees, and Dan Fields. Releasing their first single ‘The Agent’ in 2006, the track ranked number 6 in Planet Sounds Top 50 Singles of 2006 and reached number 40 in the UK Singles Chart. Beginning their first UK tour in 2006, Little Man Tate gained vast popularity in the music industry due to their live performances. With their first album being a complete hit, the profound musicians were adored by audiences around the world.
In 2008, Little Man Tate released their second album, Nothing Worth Having Comes Easy. Reaching number 80 in the UK Albums Chart, the band became a stand-out act throughout the music industry. Having developed an incredible legacy in the music industry, the band decided it was time to split in 2009 after four years of success. After going their separate ways, an announcement was made on social media that ‘Somethings Happening’, which led to a one-off reunion concert to be declared in 2020. Having to add an extra performance due to the incredible demand, they played two sold-out concerts at the O2 Arena to nearly 4500 people.
Most recently releasing their cancelled 8th single under a new label in 2020, Little Man Tate has become a remarkable band, showcasing the pure talent all four musicians hold. With many years of experience, this band can enter a venue and create a night to remember.
