Megan Mckenna is a television personality and singer renowned for winning the 2019 series of The X Factor: Celebrity. She began her artistic journey at an early age when she went to study musical theatre at the Arts Educational School. Megan made her first major performance on Britain’s Got Talent as a member of the music duo Harmony. After that, she audition to be part of the girl group LOLA on an episode of TOWIE in 2010. This was followed by an appearance on the third series of MTV Ex on the Beach which propelled her reality TV career forwards.
Soon after, in 2016 Megan was invited to appear as a housemate on the 17th series of Celebrity Big Brother. During the same year, she became a cast member on TOWIE which was then followed by the launch of her reality series, There’s Something About Megan which aired on ITVBe. Shortly after Megan released her debut extended play featuring High Heeled Shoes and Far Cry from Love. Both songs topped the British iTunes chart within 24 hours, and they peaked at numbers 43 and 53 on the UK Singles Chart respectively.
In 2017 she launched her debut headlining tour to promote her singles, performing at four different venues including The Sugarmill, The Venue, Palace Theatre and Scala. After experiencing great success, Megan went on to support Michael Bublé at the British Summer Time Show at Hyde Park. She then released her debut album Story of Me in 2018 which performed exceptionally well, peaking at number four on the UK Country Chart. From May to September 2019 Megan went on tour to promote her album, Story of Me. Later that year she would appear as a contestant on The X Factor: Celebrity winning the show with an astonishing 46.3% of the votes and earning a record deal with Syco, Simon Cowell’s record label.
Megan went on to appear on E4 Celebs Go Dating and then in 2021 on Celebrity MasterChef, where she reached the final. Deciding to focus on her country music songs, Megan left her record label and began independently releasing her new songs beginning with the hit single Baby Talk. Moreover, she recently achieved her dream of performing at the Glastonbury Festival. Now, Megan is available to hire for your special occasion promising a truly sensational performance.
