The former X Factor contestant graduated from the prestigious Brit School for Music and since X Factor has spent her time in theatre and gaining experience performing.
Shan is an exceptional singer-songwriter and guitarist from London whose music is influenced by a variety of genres from Gospel, Soul and Pop to R&B, Jazz, Folk and Reggae. An unreal musician, Shan began self-producing her music from an early age, developing and sharing her message of drive and love for music. In 2016 she not only achieved a first-class degree in Music Business and Arts Management at Middlesex University but also released her debut EP, Prisoner of Hope.
Shan's X Factor journey started in 2018 when she auditioned with a cover of The Greatest Showman's Never Enough which immediately gained her viewers and judges admiration. Continuing to deliver show-stopping performances including an original song at the judge's houses which gained her heartfelt applause from multi-award-winning American songwriter Diane Warren.
Shan has received a wealth of experience performing since The X Factor including playing Eponine in the West End production of Les Miserables at the Gielgud Theatre in London in 2019. Alongside Carrie Hope Fletcher she also gained the amazing opportunity to perform for BBC Proms 2019 at Hyde Park, where she completely blew away the audience.
