Lewis Shay Jankel is a British DJ who is best known by his stage name Shift K3Y, he is also a record producer, singer and songwriter from London. He is best recognised for Touch, a single he released in 2014 that peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart. He released his first EP in 2011 called Step in the City which included a track called Manage Ya which was supported by BBC 1Xtra and Radio 1 DJ's Toddla T and MistaJam.
These were released through Marco Del Horno's record label Bullet Train. Only a year later he released Wiggle With It which featured exclusively on Borgore's record labels Buygore Allstars Vol.1 compilation. By 2014 he had now released his fourth EP Frozen and also remixed Trampoline by Tinie Tempah which topped the Beatport hip-hop charts and was premiered by SB.TV. Receiving his first UK top five single in 2014 following the release of breakthrough single Touch.
The song entered The Official Chart Update at number three and maintained its position therefore entering the UK Singles Chart at number 3. I Know was then released on 21 September 2014, although not achieving the success of his previous release, the single still made it to number twenty-five on the UK Singles Chart.
Shift K3Y cleverly combines R&B with contemporary pop and a mixture of classic house and garage sounds to create fresh and current music. He is regularly premiered on BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra and has a huge amount of musical experience behind him, making him a great DJ addition to any event looking for a party atmosphere.
