With a talent that seemingly knows no bounds and a songbook that crosses all genres, including the best of the swinging sixties and seventies – this band offer one of the most irrepressible performances in the country. With a collective of highly talented musicians, the group bring an incredible musicality to your event entertainment and an unprecedented taste of brass. The Taste of Brass orchestra, composed of graduates of the famous Bratislava Conservatory are a group of skilled young instrumentalists, already climbing to the top of their profession.
With a smooth and unified sound, the band are a collective with great synergy and originality. They offer a freshness to past songs and anthems. They began together in 2014 and by 2015 they were performing for the first time in public at the Old Market Square in Bratislava. The group played hits by Herbert Alpert, Aretha Franklin and James Last to become an instant hit with residents and tourists of the Slovakian capital. The pop-jazz big band grew in stature and began touring around the country, growing in acclaim and experience. By September 2016 the band had released their debut album, which brought significant success. The new album was first featured on Slovak Radio as the band played the song, ‘Walk Do Not Run’.
