The Bon Jovi Experience is a well-established Bon Jovi tribute act with over 20 years of experience touring the UK, Europe and further. Comprising the most talented musicians with decades of experience between them, each band member perfectly portrays one of the original Bon Jovi members.
Founding member Tony (Jon) began singing at the age of six. He first received vocal training from his music teacher who saw great potential in him. The teacher also taught him to play the guitar and placed him on the right path for a vibrant music career. Tony studied various singing styles and began performing with several local bands including Scratch and Big Shot as a vocalist. He was then invited to front By Jovi in 1995 and spent the next nine years performing with them before launching The Bon Jovi Experience.
The next band member is Edd (Richie), a self-taught guitarist who amazes people with his proficiency when performing. Before serving as Richie, Edd spent a substantial period perfecting Richie’s distinct playing style and vocal range for that extra edge. Steve (Dave) is the third member of the band and is classically trained. He began playing the piano at seven and went on to earn a diploma from the Royal School of Music in Classical Performance and Music Theory. Steve would spend the next 15 years as a highly sought-after session teacher before joining the band.
Paul (Tico) began playing the drums at an early age and joined his first band at 16. During his early career, he performed with a range of bands representing major artists such as Abba and Motley Crue. The fifth member is Nick (Hugh), who initially played the guitar before later switching to bass. He spent several years playing for local rock cover bands and toured with the leading tribute bands before joining The Bon Jovi Experience. With such an impressive array of musical talent, it is no surprise that The Bon Jovi Experience is the only Bon Jovi tribute band to ever be invited to perform live with Bon Jovi.
