Mike Nolan, Cheryl Baker Jay Aston and Bobby G became household names due to their iconic skirt-ripping routine, not to mention the song Making Your Mind Up. Bucks Fizz was far ahead of their time, creating a successful manufactured group in the 1980s alongside the evolution from punk to new romantics.
The group secured their niche, proving their versatility as performers with every album and single released achieving them over 15 million sales worldwide. They won countless music industry awards in 1982 immortalising the group in 80's music history. Over three decades later and Cheryl, Mike and Jay were joined for three years by Bobby McVay to record a new studio album The F-Z of Pop.
Bobby left the band in early 2018 however, the group still continue to tour and perform as a trio.
