Toussaint Douglass is an up-and-coming British comedian, who within a short period has already demonstrated significant artistic talent since he began performing professionally in 2018. Possessing a unique style, where he mixes events from his personal life with politics, Toussaint can be best described as charmingly awkward with an absurdist slant thrown in for good measure.
The rising artist has performed at several leading venues, including Up The Creek, Top Secret Comedy Club, The Comedy Store, Banana Cabaret, Backyard Comedy Club, The Glee Club and Frog & Bucket, among others. He has achieved widespread success across the board, winning over new fans at every venue he performs at.
He made his TV debut on BBC Presents: Stand Up For Live Comedy and has supported industry giants, such as Russell Howard and Paul Chowdry. Moreover, he is a contributing writer to The Russel Howard Hour For Sky One and regularly works on scripted projects for the BBC. Exhibiting significant potential as a writer and comedian, Toussaint has reached the finals in several comedy competitions, including Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year, Laughing Horse New Act of the Year and the Get-up, Stand-up New Act Competition. He went on to win the Frog & Bucket’s Beat The Frog World Series in 2019.
