Bizzi Dixon is a British singer best known for appearing on ITV reality talent show The Voice, where he was selected on Sir Tom Jones’ team and reached the semi-finals.
The Leicester-born vocalist started singing at a very young age, as the youngest child of Pentecostal Ministers. He learnt the fundamental parts of Gospel and R’n’B vocals and how to play key instruments such as drums, keyboards, guitar and piano.
After performing in a number of bands, Bizzi was asked to join the UK R’n’B group Rhythm & Bass as one of the lead vocalists and songwriter. The group achieved some success, which included a tour of the United States in the 90s.
Once back in the UK, Bizzi secured a recording contract with Parlophone (EMI), with whom he released ‘Bizzi’s Party’, a song that proved very successful on the underground circuit and reached a national chart position.
Bizzi has proven over the years that he is one of the leading vocalists within the UK. He participated in Series 3 of The Voice UK series in 2014 and made it to the final eight, one of the last two of Sir Tom Jones team, which is an outstanding achievement as over 50,000 people entered.
As a testament to his popularity, Bizzi has performed to the likes of Will-I-Am, Kylie Minogue, Sir Bobby Charlton, Wayne Rooney and Tinie Tempah and has sung with Brandy, Teddy Riley, Keith Sweat, Joe and Sir Tom Jones.
