With over 20 years’ experience in performance and music, Beatlemania have established themselves as masters of the art. Clark Gilmour, with a striking resemblance to the late, great John Lennon is a talented vocalist and guitarist. Add to this his Mersey-side heritage and you’ve found a talent unlike any other. Assisting Clark on guitar and vocals is David Peterson impersonating Paul McCartney. This accomplished musician, inspired by The Beatles, has realised a dream in continuing their great work. Providing the backbone of the band is Richard Petch as George Harrison.
His bass pulls everything together as he mimics the enigmatic George. Last but not least is Joe Mantague as Ringo Starr, the drummer who brings much-needed temerity to the sound of the band. This live band has a long list of performances to their name with corporate entertainment gigs for the likes of Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Virgin Atlantic, Manchester United, Adidas, and McDonalds.
This professional crew have even performed for celebrities like David and Victoria Beckham, Tiger Woods, Sir Richard Branson, and a launch party event in which Madonna and Guy Ritchie were in attendance. Not just content with performing for the rich and famous, Beatlemania has shared the stage with some of the biggest names of the ’60s and 70s including The Searches and Bay City Rollers, as well as contemporary bands such as Madness, Blue, Coldplay and Girls Aloud.
This rich history proves Beatlemania to be worthy of their namesake as they perform authentic covers of hits like ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’, ‘Hey Jude’, ‘Please Please Me’, and ‘Penny Lane’.
